Kilkenny City, Towns and Villages
The main attraction in Kilkenny city is our beautiful Kilkenny Castle, a 12th century castle remodelled in Victorian times and set in extensive parkland and was the principle seat of the Butler family - www.kilkennycastle.ie
There is a lovely little village called Freshford close to our home and in this village we have four restaurants. There is a pub called "Butlers Pub & Restaurant", an Italian restaurant and a Chinese restaurant. We also have two take aways serving traditional fish and chips (and pizzas and burgers of course!).
